A collaboration with the Forestry Museum in Eisenwurzen.
The Austrian Forestry Museum “Silvanum” tells the history of the Austrian forest industry and shows collection objects from the 19th and 20th century. The museum thereby aims to make cultural-historical connections visible as well as to present sustainable and environmentally aware approaches. The students are invited to deal artistically with the surrounding nature, the history of the museum and the challenges posed by climate change and to develop interventions and installations that will be exhibited in the museum. The photos show a glimpse of the first research trip the class undertook to Eisenwurzen in March 2023. Currently the students are in the research and project development phase.
